DESCRIPTION:

The most famouse Korea tracking trail Jeju Olle Foundation helps develop mainland walking path.

'Path of Water Sounds' to open April 27 in Gyeonggi.

 

Walking trails similar to Jeju Olle open in (양평군) Yangpyeong-gun, (경기) Gyeonggi province. The Jeju Olle Foundation said that it helped to open the '(물소리길) Mulsori-gil', which means the "Path of Water Sounds," in (양평읍) Yangpyeong-eup, (양서면) Yangseo-myeon.

 

An opening ceremony for the 30.2-kilometer path is planned for April 27th and 28th.

The path is divided into two parts, the first of which is 13.8 kilometers long and the second of which is 16.4 kilometers long.The Jeju Olle Foundation participated in siting and then developing the path into a true trail for walkers. Among even more support it offered was the creation of a brand image for it. This is the second time the foundation has participated in the full process of developing walking trails off the island, but it was the first time for it to do so here in South Korea. The first such case involved Japan's Kyushu Olle.

 

DON'T FOEGET:

 

Dumulmeori where the Bukhangang and Namhangang Rivers merge, is one the three major tourist attractions of Yangpyeong-gun along with a comprehensive arts space Yangpyeong Batanggol Arts Center and Korea's Natural Monument No. 30 the Ginkgo Tree of Yongmunsa Temple. A 400-year old Zelkova tree and the early morning's wet fog adds to the picturesque beauty of surrounding nature

 

Direction :

• Take Jungang line subway from MangU Station

• Directly go to Yangsu Station & get off

• Start tracking From Yangsu Station

• Pass Sinwon Station

• Finish tracking to Guksu Station

• After finishing the tracking, all the way back to MagU Station
